The Obama Portraits, featuring Kehinde Wiley’s painting of President Barack Obama and Amy Sherald’s portrayal of former first lady Michelle Obama, are on view in the Art Institute galleries for just eight weeks this summer.
On loan from the National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, the Obama Portraits put former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama on full display in the halls of the Art Institute of Chicago.
