Millennium Park Foundation

Millennium Park Foundation was established in 1998 as a nonprofit organization that shared the same vision as the City of Chicago for a free world-class arts and cultural space in the Chicago Loop.

Millennium Park Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the stewardship of Millennium Park as an arts and culture space that remains free and open to the public. In partnership with the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, Millennium Park Foundation is committed to the preservation and enhancement of Millennium Park and is responsible for the curation of several features within, including the Park’s public garden and sculpture galleries. Millennium Park is a world leader of art and architecture in a public, outdoor, urban setting. Invoking a sense of calm, refuge, and reflection, each visitor can indulge in a unique artistic experience with the opportunity to admire the Chicago skyline as a subtle backdrop. Each year Millennium Park serves as the host of dozens of concerts, performances, and festivals that are always free and open to all. Millennium Park welcomes more than 20 million visitors who enjoy this urban icon of beauty and culture.
