"Lost in Now" by Dwight White is a mural depicting two lovers and represents the idea that as long as one of them is focused on their love, it won't be lost.
Lost in Now by Dwight White was painted live during Chicago Loop Alliance’s ACTIVATE: Playground event in June 2017. It was curated by Missy Perkins and John Ibarra. White describes this mural as a hidden treasure in the heart of the city. According to White, “Sometimes focus is in a meditation state, and other times it's all about setting eyes on what's to be built in the future.” Later, in July 2018, multimedia artist Vincent Naples projection mapped this mural to animate it and create a literal moving picture during another ACTIVATE event. Dwight White is a Chicago-based artist who specializes in communicating stories and cultural experiences through creative portraiture.
