Grant Park Music Festival

Each summer the Grant Park Music Festival presents 10 weeks of free classical concerts at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.

The Grant Park Music Festival was founded by the Chicago Park District in 1935, and it remains the nation's only free, outdoor, municipally-supported classical music festival. Each summer the Festival presents 10 weeks of free classical concerts at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. It is presented in partnership with the Grant Park Orchestral Association and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

With prolific performers like violinists William Hagen and Paul Huang, mezzo-soprano Kelley O'Connor, pianist Kirill Gerstein, not to mention principal conductor Carlos Kalmar and chorus leader Christopher Bell, the 2018 season is sure to live up to the festival's world-class reputation.
