Head on over to State Street in the Loop on Thursday, November 23 to enjoy the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade. The parade marches from Ida B. Sit back and let the pros do the cooking 

Let Beatrix Market do the cooking this Turkey Day with Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go options! Choose from the Complete Thanksgiving To-Go Dinner, including Turkey Breast with gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Parker House Rolls, and a choice of three sides for $205.00 plus tax, or finalize your own festive feast from a la carte options such as Butternut Squash Ravioli, Mashed Potatoes, House-Made Stuffing, Green Beans and more. Add on a Whole Traditional Pumpkin Pie or dessert to round out the spread. Orders must be placed by Friday, November 17th for carryout on Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, November 22. In honor of Thanksgiving on November 23, theWit hotel in the heart of Chicago’s theater district will offer a truly delightful Thanksgiving experience in its cozy tavern-style restaurant, State and Lake. Special for Thanksgiving, the restaurant, overseen by award-winning Chef Michael Taus, has crafted a delectable three-course menu that promises to be a feast for the senses. The three-course Thanksgiving menu will include an appetizer, a main entree and a dessert for $52 per person including:
  • Appetizers: Pumpkin Bisque, Winter Spice Crème Fraîche; Winter Green Salad, Tuscan Kale, Frisée, Radicchio, Sliced Apple, Poached Cranberries, Smoked Gouda and Maple-Poppy Seed Dressing
  • Main Entrées: Heirloom Roasted Turkey Breast, Giblet Gravy, Ciabatta Stuffing , Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Cranberry Stuffing; Roast Berkshire Pork Loin, Dried Apricot-Thyme Jus, Garlic Mashed, Potatoes, Honey Glazed Carrots Cauliflower, Exotic Mushroom, Marble Potato Winter Curry
  • Desserts: Pumpkin Pie, Butter Crust, Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream; Fall Berry Cobbler, Maple Ice Cream

Land & Lake Kitchen, located on the first floor of the LondonHouse, will be featuring an elevated American classic Turkey Dinner comprising of both white and dark turkey meat, creamy mashed potatoes, rich classic gravy, herb stuffing, green beans, and a side of cranberry sauce. Additionally for dessert, they will be serving slices of traditional pumpkin pie adorned with a dollop of whipped cream. Grant Park Bistro, located on the ground floor of the Le Meridien Essex Hotel, will be rolling out a 3-course pre-fixe menu priced at $50, and $25 for kids 12 and under. The menu includes an array of starters, mains, and desserts, featuring options such as White Sweet Potato Soup, Pastrami Spiced Salmon, Classic Turkey Dinner, and Salted Caramel Bars, just to name a few. Gobble up theatre in the Loop

Most theatres are shuttered for Thanksgiving Day, but the show goes on! With fantastic productions at various Loop theaters, you can say hi to Betty Boop at Broadway In Chicago’s Boop! The Musical, or dream of sugar plum fairies after Joffrey Ballet’s The Nutcracker at Lyric Opera. The show doesn’t stop there – shows at Goodman Theatre, Auditorium Theatre and more will also get two thumbs up.
