My America: Shay Bravo, Historically Inaccurate

American Writers Museum hosts Shay Bravo who presents her first novel, Historically Inaccurate, a heartfelt story about finding yourself that was the winner of the 2019 Watty Award.

Shay Bravo's debut novel Historically Inaccurate follows the story of Soledad "Sol" Gutierrez who must somehow manage to keep her life together juggling her schoolwork, a part-time job, and the pressure of her family being broken apart after her mother's deportation. Amid all of that, Sol joins The History Club and soon finds herself embroiled in a number of adventures that will change the course of her life forever. This program will be hosted live via Zoom.
