Let Bobby’s Bike Hike show you how downtown Chicago gets gussied up even more than usual, from the window displays at Macy’s (a 70+ year tradition), to the German open-air Christkindlmarket, to the official 106th City of Chicago Christmas Tree. As your eyes feast on all the decorations, you’ll be feasting on some Chicago holiday classics. Start with deep-dish pizza from Giordano’s and then sip on seasonal hot cider that’s served with double-stuffed German bratwurst at the Christkindlmarket. For dessert, you'll walk to the Palmer House, the birthplace of the chocolate brownie—still made with the 100-year-old recipe. You get to take home the recipe so that you can wow all your friends and neighbors at the next holiday get-together.
