Christkindlmarket Chicago at Daley Plaza

Chicago's most beloved holiday tradition celebrates its 27th season at Daley Plaza. Christkindlmarket is the city's largest open-air Christmas festival features gifts, food, and holiday cheer.

Rooted in the German tradition, the Christkindlmarket is well known for its traditional candy cane striped wooden huts, festive shopping options, international delicacies, hot spiced wine (Glühwein), fine German beers, hand-crafted ornaments, and family fun. Admission is free and open to the public.

Visitors get to shop from more than 50 vendors at this authentic and traditional German-style market. Favorites include international dishes like Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Raclette Sandwiches as well as imported Beer and Gluehwein. From customized ornaments to beer steins and many other handmade products - the selection of vendors is incredible and unique. Plenty of live entertainment and special events will take place throughout the season.
