Celebrate with the Grant Park Orchestra

Head into the Loop on Saturday, July 2 for an Independence Day Salute led by the Grant Park Orchestra. Sit back and take in the sights and sounds of the beautiful city. Lay your picnic blanket down on Pritzker Pavilion's great lawn or reserve seats to get a closer view of the stage.

American Writers Museum

Visit the American Writers Museum to discover how writing has shaped our nation. From our founding fathers to immigrant writers to feminists, writers have been an essential part of the growth of our country. The interactive exhibits at the museum highlight over 400 years of writing history. The American Writers Museum is located just steps from Millennium Park, and is open Thursday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 Shoreline Sightseeing
