4 MIN READ – This year the Christkindlmarket will celebrate its 27th season at Daley Plaza in the Loop, its fifth year at Gallagher Way in Wrigleyville, and its second time at RiverEdge Park in Aurora. All locations open on November 17, 2023.

Regular Hours:
Sunday – Thursday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday – Saturday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Thanksgiving (November 23), Christmas Eve (December 24): 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Christkindlmarket Wrigleyville at Gallagher Way (November 17 – December 31)
Regular Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 3–9 p.m.
Friday – Saturday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Special Hours:

To celebrate all three locations three months out, German American Events, LLC (the event planners for all markets) came up with a “Christmas in August” special: Three giveaways with one hotel partner per location. The giveaways will be provided by the Staypineapple, An Iconic Hotel at the Christkindlmarket Chicago at Daley Plaza, Hotel Zachary at the Christkindlmarket Wrigleyville at Gallagher Way and the Holiday Inn Express at the Christkindlmarket Aurora at RiverEdge Park.
People can participate daily on Instagram for a chance to enter and win on August 16, 17, and 18, 2023.
More details about each location, their vendors, events as well as hotel and parking specials will become available throughout the next couple of weeks on the Christkindlmarket website. Every location page has a “Plan Your Visit” section that will continuously be updated.
"We are excited to have all our staple vendors back at Daley Plaza, and proud to announce that we were able to add many new ones to our two other locations! Visitors get to shop from more than 50 vendors in Aurora and more than 40 in Wrigleyville, including staples like Sweet Castle but also local and international food and merchandise booths that are unique to these markets,” says CEO and General Manager Maren Biester Priebe.
The Christkindlmarket Aurora increased its sitemap and will sparkle and shine even more this season with festive, interactive photo ops and scavenger hunts for the whole family.
Special free and ticketed events will take place at all three markets. They will be announced at the end of September. This year’s mugs and merchandise will be revealed in October. Visitors will be able to purchase the beloved souvenir items at all locations.
