Their Chicago tour was the one that started it all. In June of 2015, they created the Underground Donut Tour as way to celebrate all things donut. Since then, it's grown into a multi-city and multi-country experience across the US, Canada, Ireland, the UK and more cities and countries are on the way each day.
Their tour in Chicago begins at one of the oldest and best donut shops around, Doughnut Vault. Here you'll sample numerous types and flavors of donuts and give you the history of this very special place. After the first stop, you'll make your way through River North, crossing the river, and making your way to the second stop for some award winning daily and seasonally focused donuts. Throughout your journey, they'll provide anecdotes and history of each of the locations, the surrounding neighborhoods as well as Chicago history in general. The third location is one of the most popular shops in Chicago right on Michigan Avenue (sometimes called the Magnificent Mile). And after having your fill here, you'll end the tour a few blocks away near the main shopping district and Hancock Tower at Do-Rite Donuts and Chicken. The tour is about 2 hours long with around 2 miles of walking, so you can walk off all those calories from the tour.
