Experience this 1967-themed celebration of a crowdsourced competition held on The Auditorium’s iconic and historic stage featuring creative cocktails, delicious food, an exclusive silent auction, and a live performance by the acclaimed Beatles cover band, Britain’s Finest. Participants of The Bea Hive Bash will crowdfund to build support for three tenets of The Auditorium’s mission. Before purchasing your ticket, choose which of the three mission-based categories to support: restoration of the building, programs you see on our stage, or our engagement with our community. The winning team will be announced at The Bea Hive Bash! For questions or information on sponsorships, tables, or tickets please email rsnedekermeier@auditoriumtheatre.org. About Bea Spachner, the Woman Behind “The Bea Hive”: In the decades since its 1889 unveiling, The Auditorium was a wellspring for the finest artistic programming, a glittering jewel in one of the world’s greatest cities. But by the 1960s, The Auditorium had fallen into disrepair and was in danger of being demolished. A handful of visionaries recognized the promise this once-grand venue contained. These civic leaders were led by one woman, Ms. Bea Spachner, who oversaw a monumental campaign to help restore The Auditorium to its former glory.
