'My America: Immigrant and Refugee Writers Today'

This new exhibit explores and honors the contributions of immigrant and refugee writers in the U.S.

This exhibit and related program series will explore the influence of modern immigrant and refugee writing in America and its influence on our culture, our history, and our daily lives. My America will give visitors a deep and personal experience, bringing them face-to-face — both through videos and in person — with contemporary authors who are immigrants and refugees from all parts of the world. The authors featured in My America will delve into questions about writing influences, being multilingual, community, family, and what it means to be American.
