Bestselling author, David Treuer, an Ojibwe Indian whose latest work, The Heartbeat of Wounded Knee, was a finalist for the 2019 National Book Award joins American Writers Museum for a continuation of the "My America" series.

In conjunction with AWM’s special exhibit My America: Immigrant and Refugee Writers Today, American Writers Museum presents a series of conversations with leading contemporary writers about their latest work and their thoughts on themes of identity, home, belonging and the meaning of what it is to be American.
