25th Anniversary of Bark in the Park

Chicago's Best Dog-Friendly Party

Each year, thousands of people and pets gather together along Chicago's breathtaking lakefront to raise funds for animals in need. This is The Anti-Cruelty Society's biggest event of the year, and your participation helps us provide food, shelter, medical care, and second chances for thousands of animals.

Currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, "Bark in the Park" is Chicago's oldest dog-friendly party for the whole family. Beginning with a 2.5-mile walk along Chicago's beautiful lakefront, the event is followed by the best dog party in town with food, beverages, entertainment, and dog-friendly demonstrations. Some of the exciting activities planned for that day include canine agility courses, product samples from small business sponsors, dog massages, pawdicures, arts and crafts, souvenir photos, and a 50/50 cash raffle. Guests also enjoy a variety of free food, a beer tent, live music, and much more.
