1 MIN READ - Chicago Loop Alliance (CLA) continues to bolster its international reputation as it became one of the founding members of the Global Business Districts Innovation Club. This new non-profit organization connects international business districts with resources to keep them competitive in a changing world.
The 2017 EY-ULI report, which ranked the Chicago Loop seventh for its attractiveness, speaks volumes to the work of Chicago Loop Alliance and the City of Chicago. The Alliance’s decision to join the Global Business Districts Innovation Club reaffirms its commitment not only to keeping the Loop in the driver’s seat of innovation, but also to boosting the Loop’s reputation in the global arena.
“Chicago Loop Alliance realizes that we need to continue to innovate to remain globally competitive,” said Michael Edwards, President and CEO of Chicago Loop Alliance. “Through the Global Business Districts Innovation Club, we can learn from other business districts and share our own successes. We will continue our efforts to keep the Loop a world-class destination by attracting talent, investment, and visitors.”
Already a member of the International Downtown Association (IDA), Chicago Loop Alliance is now among the five founding members – Paris La Défense, Guangzhou Tianhe, Beijing, and Montréal Destination Centre-Ville – of the Global Business Districts Innovation Club. Additional members include Tokyo, Japan, Hong Kong and Moscow.
