We are particularly excited for our keynote presenter, Blair Kamin, author, Pulitzer Prize winner, and former Chicago Tribune architecture critic. Based on his most recent book, Who Is the City For?, Kamin argued that although things might look bleak for downtown in the wake of the pandemic, Chicago’s tradition of bold planning and a fresh emphasis on equity will spark revival. Annual Meeting attendees left with a copy of Kamin’s new book, featuring photography by Chicago Sun-Times architecture critic Lee Bey.
