4 MIN READ – El Grito Chicago, a vibrant 2-day festival in celebration of Mexican Independence Day, announces an exciting entertainment line-up made up of national and local performing artists from multiple musical genres. El Grito Chicago will take place in the Chicago Loop at Butler Field in Grant Park on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 2-10 p.m.
El Grito Chicago festival tickets are available for sale at ElGritoChicago.com. A limited number of Super Early Bird tickets for the first 3,000 buyers starts at $10 per day for general admission and $100 per day for VIP admission. As capacity allows, FREE registered tickets for the official El Grito Civic Celebration hosted by the Mexican Consulate in Chicago on Sunday, September 15 will become available closer to the event date.
For capacity, safety, and security reasons, a ticket or free registration is required to attend El Grito Chicago. Ticketed attendees can expect a celebration of Mexican history, culture, and performances featuring national and local artists at the Petrillo Bandshell. There will also be authentic Mexican food, beverages, and an artisan market, as well as major brand and sports team activations for all ages in collaboration with local organizations including The Chicago White Sox and The Chicago Fire. Due to capacity constraints, early ticket purchase for El Grito Chicago is encouraged.

El Grito Chicago organizers include the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC), Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago, Grito 916, and Special Events Management who are working closely with numerous community and business organizations with the support of the City of Chicago, Choose Chicago and the State of Illinois, to offer an organized, safe, family-oriented and unforgettable experience.
