Kalapriya Center for Indian Performing Arts offer classes in music, dance, visual arts, and theatre. Throughout the year, Kalapriya brings South Asian culture to Chicago with community events, concerts, lectures, performances, and hosts an annual Mela (festival) in July. Kalapriya is the home of the Kalapriya Dance Company that performs around Chicago for private engagements, festivals, street fairs, school assemblies, public events, and corporate events.
Kalapriya proudly offers K-12 in-school classes, after school programs in various Chicago Public Schools.
Located in Chicago’s South Loop, Kalapriya’s studio classes are held throughout the week, with offerings for students of all ages.
