Chicago Loop residential study reveals growth throughout pandemic
1 MIN READ — Chicago Loop Alliance (CLA) released an in-depth Loop residential impact study. The roughly 60-page report details residents’ economic importance and their demography, Loop housing supply, Loop housing affordability and five-year housing projections. To create the report, CLA conducted a survey of Loop residents in July 2022, and contracted research firm Goodman Williams Group to analyze and predict the current and future landscape of residential living in the Chicago Loop. Chicago Architecture Center celebrates Black History Month with new Langston Allston mural
2 MIN READ – The Chicago Architecture Center (CAC) has unveiled a commissioned Langston Allston mural at the Center’s façade at the entrance of the Illinois Center located at the corner of Wacker and Michigan Avenue. The mural is in celebration of Black History Month and will be on display through mid-March.
Loop economy boosted by theatre and investments during fall and winter 2022

New LaSalle Aglow project illuminates dim corridor
As part of the effort to enhance the Loop during a crucial revitalization, Chicago Loop Alliance activated 20 windows along the LaSalle Corridor from Madison to Jackson. Over 30 artists with Paint the City participated in the unique art installations backlit by dramatic lighting, on display through March 31.
Vivid Seats opens offices in the Loop
