This ranking\u2014based on project count\u2014highlights the region\u2019s\u00a0global economic strength, business-friendly environment, and deep talent pool.\u00a0These competitive advantages are championed worldwide by the\u00a0Greater Chicagoland Economic Partnership (GCEP)\u2014a collaboration between\u00a0the city and seven surrounding counties (Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will)\u2014established in 2023 to drive investment and business expansion across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
