Illumination Gala

Support for the Loop's rich arts and culture is cause for celebration.

Loading

The Annual Illumination Gala gathers more than 500 supporters for a celebration of the Loop’s rich cultural amenities and its continued transformation due to the work of the Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation and its partners. The Gala offers an evening of food, drink and live entertainment while raising funds to support the Foundation’s projects and programs.

In 2018, Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation honored Lou Raizin, president of Broadway In Chicago, and Roche Schulfer, executive director of The Goodman Theatre at the 14th Annual Illumination Gala. The two leaders have been pivotal in transforming our city through the vibrant Chicago Theatre District.

What does your attendance at the Gala mean?

Supporting the Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation means more public art, more alley activations, and more placemaking initiatives. It simply means a more vibrant downtown.
