Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation’s ‘Maskerade’ Gala raises $150K

CHICAGO—The Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation is pleased to announce that its “Maskerade” Gala presented by Pressure Washing Systems grossed $150,000. Funds raised will support public art projects and events in the Loop in 2022. Past examples of Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation initiatives include Sundays on State, ACTIVATE pop-up alley events, mural projects, The Gateway and more.

The Maskerade Gala took place on Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel, featuring a VIP viewing of the Arts in the Dark Halloween Parade down State Street, drinks, food stations, dancing and live entertainment from DJ Seasonal Frequency, Cabinet of Curiosity, DJ Lady D, La Explosiva y sus Chinelos Mágicos, magician Benjamin Barnes and Glamour Clown Productions’ Lilith Towers and Potty Mouth. In the spirit of the season, masquerade masks were encouraged. Chicago Loop Alliance followed public health guidelines and required all attendees provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event.
