National Brownie Day at Palmer House Hilton
17 E. Monroe Street
Thursday, Dec 8, 2016
The Palmer House invented the first brownie in 1893 in response to Bertha Palmer’s request for a portable dessert that ladies could enjoy with their boxed lunches at the Chicago’s World Fair. To celebrate national brownie day and to kick off the holiday season on a sweet note, the Palmer House will surprise and delight throughout the day with brownie bites.
Lockwood Restaurant inside the Palmer House will be celebrating the entire weekend (December 8-11) with The Brownie Menu.
