Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Parade

S Dearborn St

Some of the most famous scenes from John Hughes' Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) were filmed right here in the Loop. One of the most notable is a stretch of South Dearborn Street, where the famous parade sequence takes place, in which Ferris leaps onto a parade float and sings, seizing the crowd's favor.

Another notable Loop location for the film is the Art Institute of Chicago, one of the many stops made by Ferris and the gang on their day off in Chicago.
