About the Project

Loop Link is a bus rapid transit system on Washington, Madison, Clinton, and Canal that will move people more efficiently through the Loop while improving the connection between neighborhoods across Chicago.

Closures & Impacts

  • Work continues on Madison Street between Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive, reducing traffic lanes. Work is also being conducted in the vicinity of Union Station on Jackson Boulevard and Canal Street.
  • Traffic is reduced to two lanes on Washington Street from Wacker Drive to Clark Street. Curbside loading and parking will be moved from this zone to north-south streets.
  • No Parking & Tow Zones will be strictly enforced throughout active construction zones.
