Chicago Loop Alliance's internship program provides qualifying college students and recent graduates the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced work environment while gaining experience in the fields of membership,marketing and urban planning.
Each internship position requires a motivated self-starter who lends his or her experience to help advance Chicago Loop Alliance's mission. Interested applicants must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and should be able to multitask and set priorities while maintaining a strong work ethic.

Placemaking and Creative Intern
The Placemaking & Creative Intern will assist in the planning, development, and execution of public-facing programs, particularly ACTIVATE, which is a series of summertime pop-up experiences that take place in Loop alleys. The events feature art, music, and more in unique urban settings. In addition, the intern will be responsible for answering phones, greeting visitors, and supporting other CLA staff members as needed.

Call For ACTIVATE Curators
Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation (CLAF) is seeking three curators to conceive and plan an event for ACTIVATE, a series of summertime pop-up experiences featuring art, music, and drinks that take place in Loop alleys and other unexpected places. This position requires a creative, meticulous, well-connected, results-oriented curator. The ideal candidate will have loads of arts and cultural programming and event planning experience. Must relish development and execution of complex projects, work effectively without oversight, have a take-charge attitude, and possess competence and creativity in spades. We are looking to select curators as soon as possible. No applications will be accepted after March 23rd.
