Standing committees have been established by the Board of Directors to provide guidance and support for the organization's program areas. The committees are chaired by members of the Board of Directors (indicated below) and regularly convene a diverse group of representatives from Loop businesses who hold a stake in the work of Chicago Loop Alliance.
The Marketing Committee works to promote the Loop as a premiere destination for people doing business, shopping, going to school or sightseeing.

The Placemaking & Management Committee consists of urban planners, architects, property owners, academics, technologists and other downtown stakeholders who meet regularly to seek ways to enrich the public’s experience of the urban environment—ultimately creating a strong sense of local character.
