With everything from all-natural beauty stores, to time-tested tailors, Chicago's Loop has the ammenities to ensure your big night goes perfectly. Women will find the best dress, shoes and makeup at any one of the Loop's many fashion retailers while men can achieve a classic style with one of the neighborhood's renowned clothiers, cobblers or barbers. As Chicago Loop Alliance approaches it's 9th Annual Gala, we've decided to turn the spotlight on some services to help you create a luminous look and brighten your evening!

1. The Perfect Fit

Get your perfectly-tailored suit from Balani Custom Clothiers, Chicago’s premier sartorial outfitter. Whether you want to update your tux with a fresh twist, or shake things up with a new shirt, Balani’s years of experience guarantee you’ll look sharp!

2. Feel the Burn

Want to tone your Tux-clad bod? The recently opened Anytime Fitness has the trainers, equipment and programs to help you achieve your Gala goal. Women can also check out Chicago Women’s Fitness for an exercise experience that is challenging without being intimidating.

3. A New ‘Do

With products from Aveda, this awesome spot  is perfect for creating that perfect Gala look. Located in Block Thirty Seven, Ladies and Gentlemen Salon is THE place to update your bob, trim your bangs or fluff your bouffant before your big night.

4. The Charmed Life

To spruce up your Gala attire, check out this adorable boutique for hand-crafted jewelry made by local designers. With a wide variety of styles, Local Charm (also in Block Thirty Seven), boasts everything from Bohemian baubles to classic-cut stones and accessories.

5. Scentsational!

Merz Apothecary has been providing all-natural health and beauty products since 1875! Ladies can find a wide assortment of natural floral perfumes ranging from Brown Sugar and Plum, to Wild Gardenia. And men can smell good too with colognes featuring scents of Aged Leather, Whiskey, and Spiced Tobacco.

6. Planes, Trains and….

Automobile Parking! The last thing you should worry about on Gala night is where you’ll park your ride. Use Spot Hero to find a nearby parking spot or, for a great pre/post-Gala party, consider rounding up some friends to go in on a Trolley from Chicago Trolley and Doubledecker Co

7. Frame of Mind

Swap out those uncomfortable contacts for some beautiful Gala glasses. With frames from designers like Chanel, Prada and Tom Ford, Spex has a wide variety of chic looks to complement your eveningwear.

8. Get Primed

Gala preparations can be a lot of work! Relax and grab a pre-event glass of wine from a Chicago institution. Rosebud Prime’s rich atmosphere and wide variety of vino will put you in a great mood and start the evening right!

9. Stay Overnight

Make a night of it by booking a room after the October 25th gala at The Palmer House. They have a variety of rooms to fit any mood you’re in, and special packages to make your stay even more memorable.

10. Recover

Let’s face it, CLA Galas are fun, but they can wear a person out! After a night of dancing, laughing and socializing you’ll need some help to restore your zen. After your stay upstairs, Balance Spa in the Palmer House will offer massages, facials and body wraps to help you recover. With services for couples, this is a great way to end your Gala date.

The CLA Gala will be held on October 25th at the Palmer House Hotel. Please, join us!
