Celebrate Chicago Dance Month – Free Performances at Pritzker Park this April

Chicago Dance Month is giving you one more reason to love Fridays! “Thank Dance It’s Friday: TDIF!” is coming to Pritzker Park this April with free dance performances from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. With three to four different dance companies performing each Friday, “Thank Dance It’s Friday: TDIF!” is the perfect way to explore Chicago’s diverse dance scene.  Experience tap, musical theatre, modern, ballroom, ballet, jazz, and more in this four week program.

Chicago Loop Alliance partnered with Audience Architects, the official organizers of Chicago Dance Month, to bring these unique performances to Pritzker Park. From March 28 to May 3, dance performances, classes, educational opportunities, open rehearsals, and events will be available throughout Chicago for the third annual Chicago Dance Month.

This year’s theme, “Open Doors, Open Spaces" is what inspired the free performances. Chicagoans will also have the opportunity to experience free dance performance at many unique downtown locations throughout the Loop ranging from hotels to furniture stores to churches.
