Inaugural Chicago Forum to Launch a New Dialogue on Global Cities

Global leaders from business, government, academia and the arts will convene in Chicago May 27-29, 2015 for the inaugural Chicago Forum on Global Cities. Hosted by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the Financial Times, the Forum will provide a critical venue for advancing innovative thinking around how global cities—those cities with the most significant concentrations of global business and services, education, arts and tourism—can be agents of change. Chicago Loop Alliance is pleased to join dozens of area organizations in lending its support to the event as a Knowledge Partner.


Virgin Hotel opens its doors in the Loop

The world's first Virgin Hotel opened its doors on January 15 in the Old Dearborn Bank building at 203 N. Wabash Ave. The 26-story Art Deco building, a Chicago landmark, includes 250 guest rooms, 40 one-bedroom suites and two penthouse suites.
