Hundreds of new residents will soon be calling the Loop “home” thanks to Los Angeles-based real estate firm CIM Group. The company has secured the initial permits for the construction of a new 34-story, 690-unit apartment tower situated on top of Block Thirty Seven. At its completion, the tower will be the largest by-unit count apartment building in the central business district and biggest rental structure since Alta and K Station in 2010.

Block Thirty Seven is setting the stage for a full slate of musical performances this summer in the Loop.
Dubbed “Stage 37”, the performance series is hosted on The Pedway between the CTA Red and Blue lines on Level B1. The program takes place on select Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from June 26 to July 31 from 5 - 7 pm.
